| Our Computer Equipment: |
Standard IBM PC's
running Windows 2000 or Windows XP are
used at Eastern Box, we do not use Apple Mac's. |
| Image and file types we can
accept: |
jpg, jpeg, bmp,
tiff, gif or adobe PDF documents. We can accept any Microsoft
Office based documents and spreadsheets, but we use Office 2000, so
ensure your files are Office 2000 compatible (Essential if you use
office for Vista! as MS Office for Vista files are NOT
automatically backwards compatible) Your files MUST have the
extensions .doc, .xls and NOT .docx, or .xlsx as our software cannot
read these. |
| Sending artwork by email: |
Any artwork files
you try to send by email MUST be below 8megabytes in size. Any
files over 8 megabytes in size are usually bounced or deleted by
the majority of internet service providers. 8MB is generally seen as
the limit for attached file sizes where email is concerned. |
| Sending Large Artwork files
(Over 8MB) electronically: |
Eastern Box can
accept larger artwork files of anything over 8MB in size if you wish
to upload them to our secure server via FTP (File Transfer
Protocol).
To do this, you will have to
ask us for the ftp server URL, the username and the password.
Please contact Clint Hall, Jock Martin or Sam Swaby at Customer Services to
obtain this information. |
