Company History - Eastern Box Company, corrugated manufacturers

Eastern Box was established in 1988 and by 1995 had re-located to a new purpose built factory at the heart of Louth’s industrial complex. Within four years this site was doubled in size to meet growing demand for corrugated packaging and the company celebrated its tenth year in business by further expanding.

With the recent acquisition of Linpac Containers by the David S Smith Group, and D S Smith Packaging Limited, Eastern Box is now a part of the largest corrugated manufacturing group in Europe.

The company holds ISO9001 accreditation and ISO 14001 Environmental accreditation, which demonstrates its commitment to quality and guarantees to that the company has in-house systems in place to cover quality control, manufacturing, delivery and full traceability.

Production Planning, Product Costing and Order processing are fully computerised. Customers can telephone the company's Production Services Department to place orders, check order progress and delivery times directly with those responsible for manufacture.

Orders can be placed by phone, fax, e-mail or via our web ordering facility The company has invested heavily in modern box making equipment and continues to do so.

The company has also invested considerable time and effort in promoting the highest standards of health, safety and environmental practice in the work-place and this is part of our wish to have a culture which puts safety at the top of our agenda.
